CommTrak - The Basics

CommTrak provides modules for improving efficiency throughout your whole organisation, and there are many specialised CommTrak modules to aid you and your team members in your daily tasks and goals.

However, there are some basic features and tools with which all CommTrak users should be familiar:

Information Bar

The Information Bar is displayed at the top of every CommTrak screen, and consists of several sections, including shortcuts and links to recently viewed company records.

Main Menu

The Main Menu is displayed to the left of every CommTrak screen, and contains shortcuts to the global CommTrak features.

The display of the menu can be set to hide automatically, or pinned open for quick access.

Search Dashboard

The Search Dashboard is located at the top of CommTrak's home screen (the screen that is displayed when you first sign in)

Summary Panels

The summary panels are located below the Search Dashboard, and contain information about your currently-due tasks, events, actions and messages.
For example, there are Summary Panels that display details of your currently-due:
  • Workflow tasks
  • CallBacks
  • Tickets
  • Messages
There a more than a dozen Summary Panels, but some of them may not be available to you, depending upon your role.
