Quote Options

This article details the features available in the Quote options section of a quote.

The Quote options only become visible after a quote has been saved for the first time (i.e. it is not initially visible when the New Quote tab is selected).

Quote options are accessed by clicking the expansion arrow, displayed rightmost in the Quote section header. This section can be expanded and collapsed as required, and is always displayed in its collapsed state when selecting a quote for viewing.

The Quote section header is shown highlighted below:

When the section is expanded, it is displayed as shown in the following image:

The options available are:

Date Added

The default date is the date on which the quote was added to the Lead.

This date can be edited to allow for, for example, administrative delays in sending the quote.

Show Prices (default Yes)

Determines if the price column for each line item is shown on the printed quote.

The quote must be saved to confirm changes to this setting.

Show Price per Item (default No)

If set to Yes, an Item Price column is shown for each line item on the printed quote.

The quote must be saved to confirm changes to this setting.

Show Separate Contract Term (default No)

If set to Yes, the Contract Term is displayed on the printed quote.

The quote must be saved to confirm changes to this setting.

Show Prices inc Tax (default No)

If set to Yes, all prices will include sales tax (as per line item tax settings)

Quote Comments

General comments relating to this quote. If a quote template contains the [% quote_comments %] placeholder, this contents of this field will be populated into the placeholder in the quote.

Related and Upload Documents

This field shows documents that are related to the Lead, and allows the user to upload and relate additional documents if required.

Documents displayed in this field are not unique to the current quote, i.e. this field displays the same documents as the Related and Upload Documents field in the main Lead screen.

Lead Comments (read-only)

Lead comments as entered into the Lead Info screen.

This field is for reference only, and cannot be edited.

Summary of the Sale Value of the quote, showing Division, Staff, GP (per division and Total GP) and MRR.
