Job Schedule Field
This article explains the features of the Schedule field in the Job Details section of the Jobs screen:
This field provides features for scheduling Job Tasks for staff members (or contractors).

Schedule Field
The Schedule field is available both when creating or modifying a Job:

Scheduling Job Tasks
To schedule a Job Task, press the schedule icon (adjacent to the Schedule field label, visible in the previous image); the Job Schedule pop-up window is displayed:
An explanation of each field is listed later in this article, under the heading Job Schedule Entry Fields.

The numbered features in the previous image are as follows:
- Add new technician on this day
- Clone this day to a new day
- Remove this day
- Clone this technician to a new technician on the same day
- Move this technician to another day
- Remove this Technician
- Add another day
When adding another day, or cloning an existing day, CommTrak will always suggest the next weekday following the latest date found in any of the date fields.
Pressing the Update button to confirms changes to the Schedule and immediately saves the Job.
Task Description Icon

Hovering over this icon will display a tooltip containing the text of the Task Description as entered into the Schedule Job pop-up window.
Task Completion Icon

This icon indicates whether or not the task has been designated as Completed. The previous image indicates that the task has not been completed by the Technician.
The completion of a Job is not dependent on the Completed field being ticked; a Job is designated as being completed when the Job Status is updated to Closed.

Job Schedule Entry Fields
The available fields in the Modify job schedule entry pop-up window are:
Date Booked
The date on which the Task is scheduled to occur.
Technician
The name of the staff member (or contractor) to whom the task is being assigned.
Start Time
The time at which the task is scheduled to start.
Duration
The duration of the task in hours and minutes.
Task
The name of the task to be completed.
The tasks available in this dropdown list are configured in Job Tasks (Settings).
Task Description
The detail of the task.
Completed
This box should be ticked when the task has been completed. Note that this tickbox is linked to the Completed tickbox in the My Scope field (visible only to the assigned technician) in the Job Details screen, as shown in the following image:

The intention is that the Completed box should be ticked in the My Scope field by the technician who completed the task.
The completion of a Job is not dependent on the Completed field being ticked; a Job is designated as being completed when the Job Status is updated to Closed.
