Leads Miscellaneous (Settings)

The Leads Miscellaneous Settings screen provides access to settings that cannot be categorised under other available Leads Settings. Each of the miscellaneous settings is global (affects all CommTrak users).

Accessing Leads Miscellaneous Settings

Available Settings

The available miscellaneous lead settings are:

Leads

Enable email to salesreps when lead is created for them by somebody else (default Yes)
When a user changes the sales rep assigned to a Lead, a Notify Staff tickbox is displayed adjacent to the Sales Rep field. When the lead is saved, CommTrak will send a New Lead notification email to the selected sales rep.
If this setting is changed to No, the Notify Staff tickbox will not be ticked by default.
Over how many months are sales targets monitored

This setting determines over how many months sales targets are monitored in the Active Leads Summary Panel (visible to staff with relevant Sales Rep permissions) 

Number of days from date of creation of a new lead to automatically set follow up date to (default blank)

When a Lead is created, the Follow-Up date field can be automatically configured to auto-complete with a date from 1 to 180 days in the future.

If this setting is blank, then a Follow-Up date is not automatically entered into the field, and the Follow-Up date must be specified manually.

Default status for all new leads (default 50%)

When a Lead is created, the Status field of the lead will automatically be set to the percentage specified in this setting.

Default progress stage for all new leads (default none)

When a Lead is created, the Progress Type field of the lead will automatically be set to the Progress Type specified in this setting.

Email address to notify of a new lead

When a new Lead is created, one or more designate email addresses can be assigned to receive a New Lead notification email.

Multiple email addresses can be entered into this setting, separated by a comma.

Email salesreps when lead follow-up is reached (Company-wide default)

When a Lead Follow-Up date is reached, the designated salesrep can be assigned to receive a Lead Follow-Up Due notification email.

The default is Yes (Lead Follow-Up Due email notifications will be sent

Each user can override this global setting in their User Preferences.

Show lead closing comments 1-4 (default Yes, No, No, No)

When a Lead's status is changed to Successful, up to four Closing Comments fields can be displayed. These fields are intended for storing up to four distinct comments relevant to the closing of the Lead (e.g. upto four departments within your organisation, which might need specific information each time a Lead is closed).

By default, only the first Closing Comments field is displayed.

The field labels for the Closing Comments fields, on the Leads screen, can be modified as required; see the Support Centre Article Labels & Strings (Settings) for information relating to the renaming of fields.

Email address to notify of a closed lead

Comma-separated list of email addresses that will receive an email notification when when a Lead is closed.

Multiple email addresses can be entered into this setting, separated by a comma.

Quotes

The following options relate to quotes:

Show printed quote item prices inclusive of tax (default No)

Specify if Quote item prices are displayed inclusive of tax.

Allow warranty terms to be changed per quote (default No)

Specify if a user can change Warranty terms in a Quote.

Show prices in quotes by default (default Yes)

Specify if prices are displayed in a Quote.

Show prices per item in quotes by default (default No)

Specify if individual price of each item is shown in a Quote

Show contract term as a separate column in quotes by default (default No)

Specify if contract term is displayed with the Item Description, or in a separate column in a Quote.

Default quote validity period in days (default 30)

Default number of days for validity of a Quote

Allow Days Valid to be changed for quotes (YeS)

Specifies if staff should be able to change the validity period of Quotes.

Disable quote editing after it has been electronically signed (Yes)

Specifies if Quotes can be edited after an electronic signature has been applied

Email address to notify of a signed quote

Comma-separated list of email addresses that will receive an email notification when a quote is signed electronically
