Leads Progress Types (Settings)

The Lead Progress Type field is located on the Lead screen.

The default selection for this field, for new Leads, can be configured in the Leads Miscellaneous Settings.

Accessing Lead Progress Types Settings

Settings > Lead Settings > Lead Progress Types

Add a Lead Progress Type

Enter a name for the Lead Progress Type into the Add a lead progress type field, and click Add.

Modify a Lead Progress Type

• Select a Lead Progress Type from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
• Edit the name of the Lead Progress Type in the Modify a lead progress type field
• Click Save

Modifying an existing Lead Progress Type will immediately update all leads records with that Lead Progress Type.

Delete a Lead Progress Type

• Select a Lead Progress Type from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
• Click Delete

Deleting a Lead Progress Type cannot be reversed.

Lead Progress Order

Items in dropdown lists are always displayed in alphanumeric order. Typically, Lead Progress Types are required to be displayed in a specific order, to denote progress throughout the Lead process. It is recommended that the description provided for the Lead Progress Type should be proceeded with a number, which will ensure that it is positioned correctly in the Lead Progress dropdown list on the Lead screen, as shown in the following image:

Each of the Lead Progress Types, in the above image of the settings screen, has been proceeded with a number, ensuring that the items are displayed in the correct order on the Leads screen, as shown in the following image:
