Outlook Calendar Synchronisation (Overview)
Microsoft 365 Calendar Synchronisation
Microsoft 365 Outlook Calendar synchronisation ensures that your calendar meetings and events are synchronised between your CommTrak calendar and your Microsoft 365 Calendar(s).
All calendar items, with the exception of CommTrak Jobs are synchronised between CommTrak and Microsoft 365 when this feature is enabled.
The following are prerequisites for enabling CommTrak / Microsoft 365 calendar synchronisation for your CommTrak account:
- Your organisation must be a Microsoft 365 subscriber
- Your organisation's CommTrak administrator must have granted access for CommTrak to communicate with your organisation's Microsoft 365 accounts
When the above prerequisites have been met, each CommTrak user can configure their Microsoft 365 calendar(s) to synchronise with the CommTrak calendar.
Please refer to the following article, for steps to enable calendar synchronisation for your CommTrak account:
Outlook CalDAV Synchronisation
CalDav Synchronisation has been deprecated. This section has been retained in the Support Centre for the benefit of users who have previously configured CalDav Integration and need to remove the integration prior to enabling the Microsoft 365 Calendar Integration.
CommTrak previously offered CalDAV calendar synchronisation, via a third-party Outlook add-in.
This option is no-longer supported, and will be disabled at the end of September 2022. If you wish to synchronise your CommTrak calendar with Outlook, you must use the Microsoft 365 integration.
If you have previously enabled the CalDAV option, you must delete the CalDAV settings prior to enabling Microsoft 365 calendar synchronisation. Please refer to the following article for details:
