Customer Relationship Managers (Settings)

Relationship Managers can optionally be assigned to Customers and Leads, and can be seen on the Customer Screen and the Leads Screen.

Relationship Managers are staff members who have been assigned to manage a specific aspect of the relationship between your organisation and a Customer or Lead. For example, your organisation may assign a staff member to be the Technology Consultant for a Customer / Lead.

Relationship Manager titles (e.g. Technology Consultant) are arbitrary labels, and can be determined in the CommTrak settings, as detailed below.

Accessing Relationship Manager Settings

Settings > Customer Settings > Relationship Managers

Add a Relationship Manager

• Click New Relationship Manager in the Add new relationship manager section
• Enter the title into the Relationship Name field
• Click Add
• or Cancel to cancel the changes to the fields

Relationship Manager fields are displayed alphabetically on the Customer Screen, e.g. Network Consultant would be displayed above Project Manager.

When the Relationship Manager has been added, additional fields are displayed in the Modify relationship manager section, and these can be modified as detailed below:

Modify a Relationship Manager

Click the name of the Relationship Manager to modify, in the Select relationship to modify section

Modify the Relationship Manager fields as required:

• Relationship Name - the name of the relationship manager can be edited
• Show in Leads - by default, the Relationship Manager is not displayed on the Lead screen. This can be changed to Yes
• Make compulsory - by default, it is not mandatory for users to specify a Relationship Manager. This can be changed to Yes

Click  Save to confirm changes.

Delete a Relationship Manager

A Relationship Manager cannot be deleted if staff members are currently assigned to any Customer or Lead. Please see the article Bulk Remove Users from Relationship Managers Field to learn how to remove all Relationship Managers from all records.

• Click the name of the Relationship Manager to delete, in the Select relationship to modify section
• Click Delete

Deleting a Relationship Manager cannot be reversed.
