Quote Locking
NEW in February 2026 Quote Locking.
Quotes can be locked to prevent further changes once they have been finalised or approved.
When a quote is locked, key details such as pricing and line items cannot be modified, while still allowing permitted updates. This helps preserve quote integrity and reduces the risk of unintended changes.

User Permission – Lock / Unlock Quotes
A role permission determines ability to access this feature:
- Allow users to lock/unlock quotes
Location:
Settings > User Settings > Staff Roles (located in Leads permissions)
By default, this permission is enabled for the Supervisor role only. Other roles must be granted this permission if they are to lock or unlock quotes.
Automatically Lock Quote When Lead Is Successful
A setting is required to enable this feature:
- Lock quote upon lead being set to Successful
Location:
Settings > Leads Settings > Miscellaneous
Default: No
When enabled, any associated quote will automatically be locked once the Lead status is changed to Successful.
Removal of Previous Electronic Signature Setting
When the Quote Locking feature was implement in February 2026, the following setting was removed:
- Disable quote editing after it has been electronically signed
Previously located in Leads Settings > Miscellaneous has been removed.
This behaviour is now controlled through the new Lock quote upon lead being set to Successful setting and the manual Lock / Unlock functionality described in this article.
