Leads Quote Canned Paragraphs (Settings)

The Quote Canned Paragraph features relate to text customisation in the Quotes module.

For information pertaining to the use of Quote Canned Paragraphs, please refer to the Quote Canned Paragraphs section in the Quote Body article.

Accessing Quote Canned Paragraph Settings

Settings > Leads Settings > Quote Canned Paragraphs

Add a Quote Canned Paragraph

• Enter a name for the Canned Paragraph Name field (mandatory)
• Scope the canned paragraph to a specific paragraph, such as Paragraph 2, or leave it scoped to All Paragraphs (default)
• Enter the required text in the Paragraph Text field (mandatory). The paragraph can consist of multiple lines (including blank lines) if required
• Click Add

The following image shows a canned paragraph being created, prior to the Add button being pressed.

When a canned paragraph is scoped to a specific paragraph number (e.g. Paragraph 2, as shown in the above image), users will only be able to select the canned paragraph for use in that numbered paragraph within the Quote body.

The Canned Paragraph text is entered as plain, unformatted text, as the formatting is determined by the selected Quote Template.

Modify a Quote Canned Paragraph

• Select a Quote Canned Paragraph from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
• Edit the following fields as required:
  • Canned Paragraph Name
  • Paragraph Scope
  • Paragraph Text
• Click Save

Modifying an existing Quote Canned Paragraph will not affect existing Quotes to which that paragraph has previously been added.

Delete a Quote Canned Paragraph

• Select a Quote Canned Paragraph from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
• Click Delete

Deleting a Quote Canned Paragraph cannot be reversed. Deleting a Quote Canned Paragraph will not affect existing quotes in which the paragraph has been used.
