Job Statuses (Settings)

Job Statuses are used to specify the current status of Jobs, and the field can be used to filter and report on Jobs. When a new Job is created, the Job Status defaults to the status specified for new Jobs in the Jobs Miscellaneous (Settings).

The following statuses cannot be edited or removed:

  • Booked
  • Cancelled
  • Closed

Accessing Job Status Settings

Settings > Jobs Settings > Job Statuses

Add a Job Status

  • Click 
  • Enter a name for the Job Status into the Add a job status field, and click 

Modify an Existing Job Status

  • Select a Job Status from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
  • Edit the name of the Job Status in the Modify a job status field
  • Click 

Modifying an existing Job Status will immediately update all Jobs with that status.

Delete an Existing Job Status

  • Select a Job Status from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
  • Click the  button that is displayed below the Modify a job status section heading.

If a Job Status has been specified as the default status for new Jobs, it cannot be deleted; see Support Centre article, Job Miscellaneous (Settings)Which job status should be selected as default for all new jobs created.

If a Job Status is deleted, all Jobs that currently have the deleted status assigned will be updated to have the Job Status that is specified for new Jobs.

Deleting a Job Status cannot be reversed.
