Company Details (Settings)

The General Settings, Company Details screen contains various information that is used globally throughout CommTrak, together with information relating to utilisation of resources within CommTrak.

The Company Details screen contains two areas:

Company Registration Details

The following fields are available in the Company Details settings screen:

Concurrent Users (read-only)

The number of users who can simultaneously sign-in to CommTrak.

An unlimited number of user accounts can be created in CommTrak. If the number of signed-in users exceeds the number of allowed concurrent users, previously signed-in users will be signed-out on a first-in-first-out basis.

Company Name (mandatory)

The name of the company to be displayed in CommTrak notifications.

Address (mandatory)

The street address of the company to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

Address (cont)

An optional second line for the street address of the company to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

Suburb (mandatory)

The suburb of the company to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

State/Postcode (mandatory)

The state and postcode of the company to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

Link Logo to Customer

The company logo displayed right-most on the CommTrak Information Bar, can be defined as a link to a Customer record. When pressed, the Customer record for the specified company will be displayed.

This field is a CommTrak search field; enter a minimum of three consecutive characters to search for the company name for which the Customer record should be displayed.

SMS Username

Only visible if SMS is enabled.

The username for your SMS account.

SMS Password

Only visible if SMS is enabled.

The password for your SMS account.

SMS Credits Per Message

Only visible if SMS is enabled.

The maximum number of credits that can be used per SMS (1-5). The number of credits determines the maximum number of characters (and thus the potential cost) of each sent SMS.

The SMS feature is enabled per CommTrak site upon request, and the SMS fields are only visible when the feature has been enabled. Please refer to article SMS Features for further information about activation, use and cost of SMS in CommTrak.

Main Phone (mandatory)

The phone number to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

Fax

The fax number to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

Email (mandatory)

This email address serves two primary functions, and it is therefore vital that a valid email address is provided:

  • The sending email address for CommTrak notifications. If using MS365 integration, this must be a valid MS365 email address with appropriate sending permissions.
  • The email address to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.
URL

The website address to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

ABN

The ABN to be displayed in CommTrak notifications and other templates that utilise this field.

Browser Title

The text that will be displayed in any web browser tab containing an instance of CommTrak.

Email Prefix (default 'CommTrak')

Text used to prefix notifications in CommTrak.

For example, Ticket notification emails may contain a subject such as CommTrak: New Support Ticket.

The prefix may be changed to a name appropriate for your organisation.

Login Message

A message that will be displayed at the top of the CommTrak sign-in window (i.e. prior to the user signing-in to CommTrak.

Press  to confirm any changes to the above fields.

Hosting Resource Usage

This section displays statistics relating to your organisation's use of CommTrak. It is important to check this information periodically, as your CommTrak Agreement contains information pertaining to this data.

Usage Allowance

This section contains the following fields:

  • Hits Limit Monthly: The number of site hits allocated, as per your CommTrak Agreement
  • Hard Drive Space Limit: The disk storage allowed, as per your CommTrak Agreement

Statistics Charts

This section contains two charts:

  • Number of Hits: A line chart displaying the number of daily hits over the previous 31 days (rolling)
  • Hard Drive Space: A pie chart displaying the usage of disk storage by module (e.g. Document Library, Customer Documents, etc.)
