Accounting Software Integration (Xero)
This article is a step-by-step guide to granting permissions for CommTrak to access specified Xero tenants (companies).
Prior to authenticating CommTrak's access to Xero, it is vital to ensure that appropriate permissions and restrictions have been assigned to each of your CommTrak users. Supervisor role can access the Accounts tab on the Customer profile.
If you have CommTrak Supervisors, who you do not wish to access to the Accounts tab, you can create a custom role, based on Supervisor, and remove the Accounts permission, 'Allow users to view/modify all accounting software related information'. You can then assign the custom supervisor role to users as appropriate. For an example of creating a custom role, see Support Centre article: https://support.commtrak.com.au/article/257-change-user-permissions-faq
