Telco Products (Settings)

In this article, the generic name Telco is used; please replace with the name of your service provider, as appropriate.

This setting enables you to manually add Telco products into CommTrak if they are not currently available in CommTrak. Manually added Telco Products can subsequently be accessed within the Quotes module.

Adding Telco Products

The Add new Telco quotable item section is displayed as shown:

The fields shown in the above image will vary, depending upon the Type selected, as detailed below:

Available fields for Telco Products are:

  • Description: Product Description
  • Telco Product Tag: The service provider’s tag for this product
  • Type: The available options are:
    • Item without buy price (default)
    • Item with buy price
    • Device
    • Discount
    • Bonus
The selection of the payment Type will update the fields displayed below the Commission Percent From field.
  • Commission Percent From: The available payment types are:
    • CLV
    • MMC
    • OTHER
    • REBATE
    • REM (default)
    • VAS
Additional fields for the Type Item without buy price:
  • Contract Period: Select from - N/A, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 months
  • Cost to Customer: Dollar value of the cost to the customer (once-off)
Commission section:
  • Payment frequency: Select from – once-off, per month
  • Amount: Select either dollar amount or percentage from the dropdown list, and enter the numeric value in the adjacent text field.
Additional fields for the Type Item with buy price:
  • Contract Period: Select from - N/A, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 months
  • Cost to Customer: Dollar value of the cost to the customer (once-off)
  • Buy Price (ex-tax): Dollar value of the buy price (once-off)
  • Sale Price (ex-tax): Dollar value of the sale price (once-off)
  • Tax: Select from – GST, FRE (zero tax)
Additional fields for the Type Device:
  • Rebate Amount: Dollar value of the rebate (once-off)
  • Tax: Select from – GST, FRE (zero tax)
Additional fields for the Type Discount:
  • Amount: Enter the dollar value, and select either once-off or per month
Additional fields for the Type Bonus:

  • Payment frequency: Select from – once-off, per month
  • Amount: Enter the dollar amount
