Customer Contact Departments (Settings)
The Contact Departments field is located in the Customer Contacts screen.
The Contact Departments field enables users to specify which department(s) a contact represents within the contact's organisation:

Accessing Contact Department Settings
Settings > Customer Settings > Contact Departments
Add a Contact Department
Enter a name for the Contact Department into the Add a contact department field, and click .
Modify a Contact Department
- Select a contact department from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
- Edit the name of the contact department in the Modify a contact department field
- Click
Modifying a contact department will immediately update all contacts that are allocated to that department.
Delete a Contact Department
- Select a contact department from the list displayed at the top of the settings screen
- Click
Deleting an existing contact department will immediately remove the deleted department allocation from contacts.
Deleting a contact department cannot be reversed.
